This cute toy’s name is Melinda.

It belongs to my little cousin Victoria. She named it after me (My name is Melinda also) because I am her favourite cousin and she loves me (aaw how sweet!).

For Christmas I bought her some pink fairy wings and a princess crown. “I look like a Space Fairy!” she exclaimed when she tried them on. I didn’t even know she had heard the phrase “Space Fairy” before. She’s only five so I’m pretty sure she doesn’t read my blog yet.
After posing for 20+ photos wearing her wings (her idea by the way!) it was clear that Victoria is in fact, “Space Fairy: The Next Generation”. (Which is cool, because the way I’m currently going, I’m more likely to become a crazy cat lady than to have kids).

P.S. Pete is becoming way more awesome than I previously realised. I can be my crazy normal self around him without trying, and he still likes me. I find that comforting, and really, really cool
